Campsite: Agua Caliente County Park Campground
We drive our RV here from San Diego. It is the perfect get away when you don’t want to drive too far. In the winter the days are temperate and nights are cool. There is wonderful stargazing clarity at night. The sulphur pools inside and outside are extremely relaxing, especially the VERY large indoor soaking pool. The pool has nice for pay shower rooms and so does the campsite. There are also nice hikes around the area.
Campsite: Red Canyon Village RV Park
Although this RV Park is cost effective, it is very run down. The showers, bathrooms, and laundry room need to be upgraded or just basically cleaned, refreshed, painted and maintained. As for the campsite it is way to close to the road. You hear semi trucks, cars, RV's, motorcycles, and etc. zooming past during all hours of the day and night. Additionally for the open area in which it is located, there is absolutely no coverage for vehicles or campers. How about more trees or some pergolas? On hot summer days you are exposed to the sun all hours of the day. Thank goodness the temperature drops at night so you can get a reprieve.
