Campsite: Airport B Backcountry Campsite — Canyonlands National Park
Hands-down the most beautiful views from any campsite I've ever stayed in, and I've camped in Moab numerous times including the White Rim trail. This site is a step above on both views and privacy. There is only one site at the end of a 1.4 mile road. You are ALL alone. The expected amazing star viewing. Clear line of sight for sunrise and sunset.
The bathroom is not nice, with rat droppings and black widow webs, but it's not enough to keep this site from being 5 star.
Campsite: Hardscrabble Bottom Backcountry Campsites — Canyonlands National Park
Every camp site on the White Rim Trail is good, and this is no exception. That said, it is my least favorite of those I've used. There are good views as the area is stunningly beautiful. It's only about a mile from the Fort Bottom hike, which was a plus for me (and includes an option to see an old cabin on the river).
There are trees and greenery nearby, which is nice, but it doesn't provide shade. Also, grabbed some cool photos of multiple very healthy looking Black Widows in the bathroom. It feels like the cleaning crew should be able to do something about this.
