Great state park. The lake is very low but still beautiful. All camp sites are asphalt with concrete pads. Van's burger and soda bar is a great place to grab a bite and a cocktail or beer. Not much siteseeing nearby, but very enjoyable place to escape the busy city life. I did find a school house built in 1925 on one of my outings. They only have 2 short trails to walk, but walking the roads around the park was a nice way to pass the day. They have cabins you can rent or tent and rv sites.
The road to access the park is in need of repair. The pool looked nice but the day I went over it was locked up and it was not Monday. The park is very quiet and located close to many sight seeing areas. Many nice restaurants with in 20 minute drive. Its an RV park not a resort, a resort would have more amenities. They have a pool, horse shoe, fishing pier, laundry, but that's all.
