We stayed at Point of Rocks twice on our recent trip from California to Texas. On our return trip we had trouble with our truck and had to extend our stay at Point of Rocks. We were hoping to get on the road when the truck was repaired and we were told by their office that if we stayed a minute past check out we would have to pay for another day -- no options! They were not at all understanding or gracious at all! So we ended up paying for another night even though our vehicle was ready in the

afternoon. The place is very dusty (especially when it is windy). My parents stayed there 25 years ago and said it hasn't changed -- no improvements have been made. It is difficult to get in and out and they are more interested in their policies and money than they are the customer. Though we have family in Prescott and could have been repeat customers -- we will not stay there again!

The only nice thing is the location to Watson lake -- but they have a nice parking lot-- so staying at Point of Rocks is unnecessary to enjoy it.
