Campsite: Tower Hill State Park

Great little state park that I'm guessing is very overlooked by many people given all the attractions near by. Course this little state park also has a very interesting attraction that you definitely don't see just anywhere, a shot making tower, which is very high up and has a tunnel at the bottom you can hike into and check out which is a very unique experience you don't find just anywhere. On the flip side though, it's not a very long hike but the shortest route requires a hike up hill to the top as well as stairs and the same is true for the second section from the top, and unfortunately the trail is currently closed from the second section to the bottom so you have to hike down to the bottom and around to see the tunnel or take the river if you have a canoe or kayak, but it's worth the trip I thought.

Campsite: Old Oconto Copper Culture State park

Great little state park for a quick stop with some smaller trails and a really nice museum with plenty to see. They also have a nice picnic area with running water and grills and restrooms with running water which can be hard to find at a lot of parks. As for the museum they talk about how the people of the area were the first in the area to work with making tools and using copper as well as there trade routes and how it was distributed in the US.
