Epic climb, super strenuous, too cloudy for views half the climb, but well worth the ascent, and the legendary views of Klawatti, Forbidden, Austera, and Boston Peaks

If you get a chance to climb this, do it

But watch out for the hidden crevasses at the crest of the Eldorado Glacier

They're tricksy (as a party ahead of mine discovered)

Quite possibly my fave campsite - not too busy, great views, and access to one of the best trails in the NW

Didn't camp here, but made this our endpoint on a hiking trek. Would love to camp here someday

Easy trail, with access to many of the best ascents in the region - starting from here you can go up Copper Ridge, or start the Pickets Traverse, or hike up Hannegan Peak, or climb Ruth and Icy... there's a lot of great options here. And the views start great and don't stop
