We booked in January for an August weekend trip with family. Both campsites were side by side. We even paid a price lock fee to ensure that our sites wouldn’t change. We got an email back in May stating that our sites were being taken away due to renovations. We were given new sites still side by side just smaller. That was fine but we were still paying the price lock fee for sites we didn’t even have anymore. When we got to the park we were assigned sites that were not what our last email stated nor were they side by side with our family. Again STILL paying site lock fee!

The construction going on in the park was horrible! Very unsafe for children with huge pipe dug into the ground beside the playground. Any child could have fallen in and been hurt. Walking out our door and 5 feet away was construction, rocks, sand, bricks and dirt that we had to walk through every time we went out our door.

I never had to deal with a worse owner (Darren) in all our camping experiences.

The price of the sites being $100 a night is steep but if the park had been in decent shape and if we as a family had gotten to stay beside each other, like we paid extra to do, then I wouldn’t have an issue.

Darren was over his head and couldn’t keep his park running efficiently or safely.

I would not recommend a trip here!
