This was an amazing find. We've visited Hawaii many times but we'd never been to this place until now. I would highly recommend this location... well worth the time and expense. It was fun to see so many familiar scenes from movies. What a great time we had. We took the movie set tour. They offer several other outings, including horse back and four wheeler tours too. You can spend an hour or two or spend the whole day.... you'll find many options.

This was a fun little hike. The hike is approximately a mile from the parking area to the site. At the parking location you'll find a fire pit and pic nick table. The trail gets steep toward the last quarter Mile or so, but don't give up, it's beautiful at the summit. We found it well the time and effort.
