This is a great private campground if you have a family with kids. There are so many activities available. Each weekend, they offer a hay ride around campgrounds with kids. They also offer a nice size area for primitive camping. They have 16 "rental able" electric sites with water. The lots are not huge, and it's not super easy to navigate backing in spots. Overall, very clean campgrounds. The staff were very friendly, they had security out driving around until 2am, and they even have a loudness meter. If you have someone coming to visit, they do have to check in the office and pay $5, even if it's just for an hour.
This is a huge campgrounds with lots of family friendly kid activities. It's also very packed with tent camping, RV camping and cabin camping. The sites are an ok size, but there isn't any privacy, which is normal for private campgrounds. They are stone, sites do not have fire pits, you just pick a spot and burn. We ended up not having campfire. I felt like the campgrounds hadn't been kept up with mowing and weed eating or cleaning of the flower beds. It would have also been nice if some of the weeds had been trimmed so the sites could see bay area clearer. They have a huge general store that has everything, which was really nice! I would make a recommendation that if someone is staying more than a certain amount of nights to make a deal with the golf carts, $79 night is a lot on top of full hook ups, plus a 7 night stay. We didn't rent one, but it is definitely something that is recommended and easier to get around. They have an adult only pool where you can have adult beverages. That pool was very clean. The beaches were not very clean. Despite it not being kept up the best, we hope to eventually return in a few years.
