Stayed here Jan 2020
This park is away from the main post, so it is generally quieter overall with less traffic than I expected. Helicopters do fly directly overhead, so keep that in mind.
Check-in without reservations was quick and easy. Kayce recommended a site for my trailer and her suggestion was great. Additionally, I received a text notification during extreme weather with instructions on where to shelter if the base warning sounded. No other park I've stayed in has done that. Great job to the staff for looking out for patrons.
As others have stated, the hook-ups here are water and power only, no sewer or cable. My site was level and consisted of a concrete pad with asphalt drive, picnic table, fire ring, and lantern post. My nearest neighbor was approximately 40 feet away, so I was definitely not cramped for space.
Overall I had a great stay with one notable exception: Barking dogs. That may not bother some, but I found it difficult to tune it out when it was otherwise quiet and peaceful. I found it annoying to get barked at while sitting outside while owners walked them and did nothing to keep them quiet. There seemed to be some truly inconsiderate pet owners who are there long-term.
I stayed in Glenn Springs 2, which is far enough away from GS1 that you most likely won't know if anyone is there or not.
GS2 is a decent campsite. The parking/camping area is large and well marked with railroad ties and rocks, and fairly level if you're setting up a trailer. There are nice views all around, and there are some decent ridges and fingers close by for exploring.
The campsite is just off the road though, and during my last visit vehicles were screaming by at all hours (even at 2 AM). Expect looky-loo's and people hollering at you as they drive by.
