We stayed in a cabin for a weekend. There were stink bugs getting in through the door. There wasn't much of a seal around it. The showers were alright except for the mat on the floor. It hurt my feet as I forgot my flip-flops. I think one of the toilets was leaking because the bathroom floor was always wet. At first, I thought it was from people tracking in rain water, but the rest of the weekend was dry, but the floor was still wet.

The area is gorgeous! The trees were changing colors. It was relatively quiet. There were kids running around, including my own. It was just what I needed.

We even went to the aviary at the suggestion of the lady in the tiny camp store. I love owls, and there were three.

Maybe in the spring we'll come back for the gardens.
