Had this campground set as our destination but decided to push our arrival a day later since we were hoping to land a non-reservable (first-come first-serve) site and arriving late afternoon. When we did finally arrive we saw a sign at the entrance stating it was full. Decided to drive through anyway and happened across a family that was just about to leave a non-reservable site and they offered it to us. Not right on the water but still a good view. They have pit toilets along with fresh water and a dump station - sorry no electric hookup. The only negative I have is that most of the sites, ours included, are laid out with the fire pit on the opposite side of our camper’s entrance. Otherwise this is another nice National Forest campground.
