We love to visit Bay Furnace any time we're in Munising. This visit we opted to visit the day use/picnic area right around sunset in hopes of a clear sky and maybe to catch a glimpse of the Perseids. What a great view of Grand Island as we passed by last light. It took a while for the light to subside enough to start getting views of the stars. But before 11pm we were rewarded with a view of the Milky Way and we captured some meteors in the handful of long exposure shots I took!
