Campsite: Knolls Recreation Area
So far away from everything, but in the winter we love this place. Riding is fun in the dirt and sand. Just gotta pay attention to how wet things are before you go out into the flats. Can get really muddy and slippery.
Campsite: White Sands Campground
We love this place! Great year round adventure destination. The cost is a bit obsurd given that no facilities are open or anything,but I guess we just keep paying it... Oh well.
The sand can be deep in places, but mostly it's a very manageable place for all levels. Just be careful about riding if dunes. Gotta look before you leap! So many people get hurt here by not paying attention.
