The bathroom was clean. There was plenty of hot water. The facilities are not updated. It is not high end, but the grounds were clean and well-maintained. There was at least one plant per campsite. They were also picnic tables and concrete slabs at your site. We set our tent up on the concrete slab, which worked well. It was relatively quiet, although you could hear the train in the distance. The managers were nice.

Nearby lava point viewpoint was incredible. Good vista of sunrise and sunset. Our campsite (4) was large, flat, somewhat shaded, and not rocky. Possible to hang a hammock. Campsite host, Guy, was friendly and knowledgeable.
