Campsite: Ferron Reservoir

Ferron has been my go to fishing spot got a few years now. I live in the area and spend allot of time in these mountains. Ferron is a beautiful place to go. It has a nice campground, and a primitive boat ramp. It's not a huge place, but what of it there is, awe inspiring. The fishing is either really on or really off. At times you can catch good size trout. There are also many trails for riding atv's on. With six mile canyon to the West, Ferron canyon to the East, and Twelve mile to the South, there are plenty of areas to explore. The Skyline trail runs about two miles up the hill from Ferron.

Campsite: Mountain View Campground — Scofield State Park

Scofield has been a great place to fish for years. It has most of the needed amenities to make a successful fishing trip. There ate campgrounds, and boat ramps. Mountain view is nice because it sits next to the dam and faces out towards the lake. The fishing is ok from the campground. It is fairly well maintained and they're are usually spaces available.

Campsite: Jones Hole National Fish Hatchery

I have lived in the area for a while now. I have never been to a place that is such a surprise. You travel a few miles through some fairly desolate terrain. When you least expect it, the terrain changes and out of nowhere comes this awe inspiring deep canyon. The vistas are unreal and the canyon is one of the most picture worthy spots I've ever been. There are paths around the fish hatchery and paths for miles down the stream. Great place to visit!
