UPDATE- The owner heard about our experience (below) and was horrified. The situation has now been resolved ten times over. While we didn't end up staying at the Red Barn, through the exchanges we have had with the owner since we are confident in recommending the Red Barn as one of those rare businesses that have a genuine owner that is dedicated to providing the best possible service and customer experience. My wife and I are cycling around the world for a children's hospice charity, the US being country #28. We have cycled all day to reach the Red Barn, as it states tents are welcome (most state tents aren't welcome). Upon arrival, a less than friendly manager informed us that rents aren't welcome in July and August in case it rains, and we sued the owner for getting wet (we are from Scotland and are used to getting wet, regardless, we have a tent capable to whatever the weather gods throw at us). That said, there is no rain forecast for the next few days, but the manager wasn't prepared to allow us to stay or speak to the owner,
