Campsite: Lubbock RV Park

More of a 3.5 star park. The older section up front is nice, but all gravel spots and roads. They are expanding in the back. The spots are poured concrete but the area is far from done. There was a water hose connecting our site to the one next to us for water. The grounds are weeds and LOTS of huge ants. Once they completely finish the park it will be much nicer. It’s a good overnight option. We would stay again but after the park is finished. All other utilities worked great. OTA TV was good and there is a cell tower right near the park. Truck stop right down the road and easy to get gas in your RV on the way out.

Campsite: Spring Branch RV Park

Our experience at Spring Branch RV park was superb, thanks to the wonderful owners, especially Paige. The park itself is excellent, with reliable utilities, spacious gravel sites, and well-maintained paved roads. Despite its proximity to the freeway, the road noise is minimal. Conveniently located near Walmart and HEB grocery store, it's a practical choice. Additionally, T-Mobile internet worked well, and the onsite propane service made our stay even more convenient—we had our motorhome filled right here. Highly recommended for a hassle-free and enjoyable stay.

Campsite: Fort Amarillo RV Resort

Actual more of a 3.5 star. The park is showing its age. The fencing is old and rotting. The roads are dusty and gravel. The sites are quite long and wide enough. The park just needs a little TLC. Update old rotting wood, picnic tables and work on the roads. Otherwise it’s a good overnight stop. We would stay again. You can tell the park was quite nice in it’s early days. Lots of road construction around the area. Be careful navigating the roads. Some big dips turning in and out of the park.
