THIS IS A GREAT PLACE TO WATCH THE SOLAR ECLIPSE.

I was in the state park on Saturday, October 14th for the annular eclipse and look forward to April 2024 for the total solar eclipse.

Reservations for parking are available online. I recommend walking to the West Peak Overlook trail, which is a challenging climb but totally worth it as you sit on the bench at 1,850 feet elevation gazing out into the Texas Hill Country.
