Campsite: Snowberry Bowl Campground
We have camped here several times. First come, first serve and great $$ per night. There is no internet or phone service, which is great to make the kids interact with us. Bathrooms aren't too bad, always stocked with toilet paper. Nice and quiet. Thank you, Ranger Melissa, for your assistance and help 2 weekends ago!!!
Campsite: Moses Lake Mud Flats and Sand Dunes
We LOVE Moses Lake Dunes. We make a trip out at least twice a year with the kids. They love the ability to ride the quads, and when it gets too hot, they can play in the lake. Family friendly. The trails are for all ranges of skill level for both quads and dirt bikes.
Be warned that if you're a tent user or light sleeper, this may not be your cup of tea. It can get super windy, the bees LOVE to assist with any food goods, and there is no curfew for riding at night, as long as you have all the required gear and lights.
The sheriff that patrols the dunes does a great job, making sure that if he sees anyone being unsafe, he educates them. IE riding without your PPE, etc.
