If there were 6 stars, that’s what I would give Point Sublime. The road from the visitor center is about an hour and 15, with the right vehicle. The Gladiator Mojave had no problem with the trails in and out, but I would not try without high clearance and 4wd. The weather was crazy, with low 40’s in the morning, clearing up to become gorgeous by lunch. On the drive out in the afternoon, it started raining, then turned to sleet, and near the top of the plateau, we had accumulated snow/sleet in the grass. By the time we got back to the highway, it was sunny and beautiful again. We’ll be back to get more of the north rim points. Saw 4 people in 7 hours. The views are truly sublime
What a view! I want to come back here and camp overnight. One of the best views of Utah/Arizona I’ve seen. Just a few camp sites, along the southern edge of cedar mesa, overlooking gooseneck state park, valley of the gods, and monument valley area. Wow! Is probably the most common thing ever heard here
Memorial Day weekend was our first time seeing this, and, WOW! This certainly rivals the Grand Canyon, and it’s BLM land, so there’s dispersed camping everywhere. If you are visiting the San Rafael Swell, this should be where you start. The road in is in excellent condition. No, I mean it’s terrible here! Stay away!
I failed miserably at my goal this weekend, of finding the bad view 🤣

There’s no bad views of the swell. This canyon, like several others, is stunning, and could be explored for days. The pictograph is not as good quality as several others on the swell. Great camping on both ends of the canyon
