This was an incredible item to check off the old bucket list! The tunnels are awesome, and the rock formations are just gorgeous. There are places along the way you can stop and get out, take some photos, read a plaque here and there. You won't be driving too fast on this winding road, as it has some crazy turns and steep hills. The tunnels allow for 1 direction of vehicles to go at a single time, so be careful before entering them. If you are in the black hills of South Dakota, I highly suggest taking the beautiful scenic drive.
