We didn't stay at the campground, as we were headed for the agate beds. We did decide to return later in the fall because the camping area looked so clean and inviting. It's lightly visited and has a limit of 14 days, which is perfect for rock hunting in the surrounding area. The campground is beautifully maintained, surrounded by mature trees, and situated right next to French Creek. It is a long drive back into the campsite, but this assures a totally quiet and peaceful place to stay.
