We love Loon Lake! We've been to Loon Lake at least five different times this summer. The Sandy Beach at the day use area is fantastic. The water during the summer is always cool, but not cold. This makes it easier for my kids want to go play in it. The picnic area behind the sandy beach is full of trees and picnic tables. Remember to bring $5 for parking.
