Beware: While the location may seem nice I would highly encourage you to not book here. If you choose to do so I would recommend upon your arrival thoroughly inspecting your room and noting ANYTHING you notice and immediately reporting it. We were charged $150 for a "replacement blanket/quilt (which is about as thick as the sheet)" due to a stain they found. I had noticed the mark the morning after arrival on the underside of the blanket after we had slept in the bed and it was ruffled. It looked as though it was washed/set and from previous usage plus we were in a pet friendly room. (So I definitely didn't expect perfection). I did not fuss or bring it to their attention. When asked after departure I told them it was not from us and I had assumed it was from previous tenants. We had eaten out and had NOTHING that color in our room. The response I got was they had thrown everything but the kitchen sink at it but it won't budge (probably because it had already been washed, dried, and set when it was put in our room) and that management determined it was clean upon arrival and a charge of $150 would stand. I may have believed the rooms were thoroughly inspected if upon arrival our room didn't smell of cat/dog urine, the sink drained properly and we hadn't found fruit flies. Extremely disappointing.
My family would HIGHLY recommend going 1/2 mile up the road to Hotel Garibaldi. It's a 5 minute walk to the marina, CLEAN, the staff is amazing and accommodating, pet friendly and actually has amenities for a comparable price.
