I recently had the opportunity to visit Firefighters Memorial Campground, and overall, it was a great experience. The campground is surrounded by beautiful trees and is conveniently located near Cedar Springs Marina, providing easy access to water activities.

However, one aspect to consider is the size of the sites. If you have a large 5th wheel or RV, it's important to ensure that the spot you reserve can accommodate your vehicle. Unfortunately, the sites are on the smaller side, which could pose a challenge for those with larger rigs.

One issue we encountered during our stay was the campground's refund policy. Our friends mistakenly ended up in a different spot due to the size of their Rv than the one they had reserved, and the campground staff did not provide a refund for the extra spot they had to pay for. It's worth noting this potential inconvenience to avoid any surprises.

Despite these considerations, the campground's scenic surroundings and proximity to the marina make it an attractive destination for outdoor enthusiasts. Just be sure to double-check the site size and clarify the refund policy before making your reservation.
