We enjoyed our stay at Viento Campground. We stayed for 5 nights in October. The sites are incredibly well maintained and clean, the showers and restrooms were clean, and the state park rangers were very friendly and helpful.
Firewood is available on site, but ice isn't. This wasn't an issue as grocery stores were available 5 minutes up the highway. There is a small playground toward the entrance of the park and a day use area available within walking distance.
The train track runs through the park, and trains run at all hours, day and night. This was the only downside, but we got used to them after a couple of nights. There are grey water disposal sewer drains, but we were told not to use them due to the lines being closed and the water doesn't drain anywhere.
The day use area gets quite a bit of activity from kayakers and wind surfing.
Overall, this was a lovely park and great experience.
