Ok so this park doesn't have all the amenities that some others have, but just wait and keep reading.
1st. The manager, Lynn, is damn near a miracle worker. For most of our stay, 12 weeks, he was the only employee there. Sure there were some minor things that were put on the back burner, but everything that was important was done in a timely fashion. He did the office, house keeping, mowing, and tons of maintenance solo. The park looked great for a 1 man show.
2nd. The park is beautiful if you love nature, water, fishing, peace, and quiet. If your looking for a nice quiet rest, this place is great.
3rd. The people you meet are great. Almost everyone there was super friendly and eager to share a story, or meal, around the camp. On multiple occasions we had group cookouts. Most are willing to share the good fishing spots or local attractions, yes they are there if you know where to look.
So to put it simply, Texoma Shores is a hidden gem for those that like a slower pace and more relaxed RV park.
