I will never bring my kids back to this state park to swim! When we were done swimming there were leeches attached to one of our youngest children and one on my ankle. I understand they aren't preventable but I never thought I'd have to worry about the safety of my family with leeches so close to home.
The park is run down and needs a lot of work. Get it together Pike County.
