This is sad for me to write as when I was child this was the place to go. I was excited to take my son and share that experience but I was sadly VERY disappointed. Although my site is secluded and tucked away in a nice spot, the permanent spots run this place. My four year old not allowed to ride his power wheels on the road even while supervised by an adult to the playground. Their reasoning is because front loaders and log trucks can’t see them… so I guess my son can not walk on the roads either because he is the same height as the power wheels.. although golf carts are allowed to drive all over the camp ground….

The rules do not even specify powerwheels.

The playground is run down and a muddy mess, some of the structures are soft as if the wood is about to break. Swings are broke, equipment is missing from playground.

The pool is gross only 1 pool is running and it is green and disgusting. The life guard seemed as if she hated life and didn’t want to be there.

There is no hours posted for the office so you never know when to expect them in there.

Looks to have a cute ice cream parlor for kids to get some ice cream, hours posted says “4-9” depending on weather and service. No days….

There are no advertisements of events or gatherings for inside the campground.

The shower house is neglected and showers are gross, water is cold.

Arcade room is hit or miss if it is open or not

Overall very unorganized, not family oriented.

I wouldn’t say it’s much of a family campsite. Would be better suited for people with no kids and who like to sit and complain about others. 😔🤷🏼‍♀️

Off to a new camp ground next year.
