Located 10 minutes from the ferry terminal and 20 minutes from downtown Juneau, it’s a great natural campground - with full services. The sites are very nice and the campground is located right on the glacial Mendenhall lake overlooking the glacier. Some sites provide direct view to the glacier. Very pretty. We had a pull-through site that was very big, but no view. The facilities were a little far and unfortunately, the showers were not working, but overall, we really enjoyed our stay for 3 nights.
