Attended a Backcountry Hunters & Anglers event in July, 2023 in Conneaut, Ohio that included primitive camping. Needed to find a dump station on the way home, so we called to confirm Chapman State Park had a dump station available. The charge for a PA resident to use the dump station is $10. (Dump station is included if you stay at the campground, but we were not.) The rangers were leaving, so I confirmed I could pay the $10 cash utilizing an Honor System Envelope and putting it in the drop box at the Ranger Station.

Checked out the Campground while there as it is located within Allegheny National Forest. Two loops, each half pet friendly with pet stations. Some walk-in tent sites. Newer bathrooms. Trails surrounded the campground. Downside: Most sites were on the smaller side that might not fit our 24' trailer with our F150 extended cab with 8' bed truck.

Walked part of a trail with access to the lake. Many kayaks on the water. Day Use area across the way. Didn't get a chance to check out the dam or pavilions.
