This is an enjoyable 1.4 mile, flat dirt-packed, shaded forest trail loop (not suitable for strollers - too many tree roots). It feels isolated, although it's tucked between neighborhoods and you can see the backyards of houses through the trees. The trees are lovely; there are no water features or elevation changes to break up the monotony, however. The trail is relatively easy to follow, although at points the forest opens up and the path becomes unclear..
There are no facilities, no bathrooms, no water, no picnic tables, no playground. There is a parking lot that can fit 5 or so cars. There is a trail spur that connects to the Zim Smith Trail. I like this forest trail for a quick, easy trail run, and it's a great place for walking dogs. There are signs posted for no hunting.
