Best bang for your buck! About 10 minutes away from the Village of Lake George and 2 minutes from the Village of Bolton Landing. I have found that this place has the most reasonable prices for what you get (we stay in a knotty pine cottage). I love how the grounds are kept (they left a lot of trees around the property, where as with some places they cut a lot of them down). Great owners and friendly staff. Family friendly as well (this particular place gets families, but not as much as other places). I've stayed here 2 or 3 times (although I hadn't been up to Lake George in 4 years before this year...... I have stayed at 2 other places on Lake George....Capri and the Juliana - 7 times at Capri and once at the Juliana). Can't wait to come back!
