A real hidden gem, I came out here mid July and the place was filled with butterflies. The night was still a bit chilly but the day time temp is perfect. You will need a vehicle with high clearance and I'd recommend it have AWD or 4wd but don't think it's necessary. There is 4 picnic tables but can hold much more with the large meadow had a simple outhouse with a boys and girls side it did have toilet paper, no water or anything like that it's a simple campground pack it in pack it out. The walk up the bear trap canyon is really beautiful. If you're looking for a nice remote spot to camp for a couple of days I highly recommend.
