"Rustic" is an appropriate term. There is no water or electricity, just a latrine. It is difficult to get to the lakeshore but it's not very far. I like these remote sorts of campsites but a major drawback was that the dirt road that "loops" around the site has major ruts in it and you must drive very carefully. I was thankful to find this site during Labor Day weekend, when all other sites were full -- you are certain to grab a spot.
I attach this picture just as a warning -- there is a large hornet nest on the far end of the curve at the campsite I stayed. I never noticed until hearing faint clicking noises. If you see a site with a small patch of trees in front, I would avoid it. But, otherwise, yeah, if you like rustic camping I would recommend this spot.
