My wife and I stayed here with our two dogs on Memorial Day weekend 2022.
The campground was well maintained. The sites were not packed together, but we could still see our neighbors.
The campground is near a road, but traffic was minimal during the day and almost non-existent at night.
Each site has a picnic table and fire ring; the fire ring has a grill you could swing to hang off the side and leave the pit open or set over the fire for cooking and boiling water.
The restroom was a single-occupancy vault toilet. It was clean and odors were not an issue.
The picnic area had a couple picnic tables and grills. Additionally, there was a spigot but I either did not know how to operate it or the spigot was broken. We ended up getting water from the flowing well and filtered/boiled before use to be safe. Water from the well was clear, but smelled slightly of sulfur.
The surrounding area is marshland, so bugs and mosquitoes are heavily present. A good fire will keep the bugs away and a little bit of bug spray will pretty much eliminate issues with the pests.
Some maps of the campground show 10 sites, but the campground only has 6 sites.
