First time camping here site #12. Beautiful area. For some reason I thought the campground was on Lk Superior. It’s not. You have to cross the road to the lake and a teeny, tiny beach for the campground🙁.The campground is very clean. We spent most days (all 4 ) exploring the area. Agate Beach, Abbaye Point, Ontanogan (sp) Houghton, Hancock. Our campsite was right out in the open, very small and tight with our neighbor. No trees, no shade. And dogs barking and whining. Can’t believe this is allowed. We have a dog and she’s nice and quiet. It can become extremely annoying. Nice acceptable surroundings just not our vibe!
