Star gazing is a must here. This was a beautiful spot. Had no complaints. Staff was very kind and helpful. The stars were in the millions and so clear. The spots are a good size and everything is pretty convenient. If the office is closed and you need wood directly outside the park, right down the street before the office is a house where a old couple sells bundles. We just walked up, they were very nice and they saved us. The fire was needed to help keep away the bugs. Electric boxes sit between the camp sites so be sure to have at least a 20 ft extension cord. The beach is beautiful here and stores are only a 10 min drive away. Don't forget your candles & lights, when night falls it's Completely DARK here.
