I'm going to give this 4.5 stars because despite the other reviews posted, you are given specific rules when you check in (mostly dealing with respecting the trees, campground, and your fellow campers.) We had no problems whatsoever with the owners because we have no problems not hanging our stuff off the trees or partying past 10pm. The lady was very nice and her husband went out of his way to help us with camper issues. He even left the game room open an extra hour when a group of kids arrived with their family. We didn't realize our camper leaked until a huge storm hit the first night and believe me, we had bedding and towels and clothes strewn all over the camper and chairs and picnic table all around our site and the owners said nothing because we didn't hang anything off trees or on a line. They are heavily regulated by the DNR who owns the surrounding forest so you have to buy wood on site which they drop off at your fire ring anytime you buy a bundle. How great is that?! Our site was big enough for a pop up camper, a canopy, picnic table, fire ring, and a car. The tent sites do look on the small side. The pool WAS AWESOME and well taken care of even if it is only 5 feet deep. So refreshing when you're sweaty! The entire campground is fairly well shaded, but the sun does get through. The only reason I am not giving it the full 5 stars is for 2 reasons: the water has a lot of sulphur in it and the pool isn't open later than 8pm. Don't use the laundromat on site unless you Google how to avoid sulphur stains in your clothes. Honestly, we got home and did a regular wash and the one white shirt came clean. Thank you very much Lynn and Randy for a hospitable welcome and all of the help with our stay!
