My husband and I came here with our boys. Our campsite was a little rocky but otherwise a great location. There is a canoe pick up/drop off site here so it's pretty busy by means of traffic. The river was quite shallow and we had a great time walking it with our kids. You're not supposed to have glass on the river but I pulled several handfuls worth of broken bottle pieces from the short 150-200 yard stretch we explored. I highly recommend wearing water shoes if you plan to do any river walking.
