I found another jewel tucked away. Waterfalls are one of my go-to sites. I haven’t been to many, but thoroughly enjoyed the ones I have seen.
Even though the water level was extremely low, it didn’t take away from the beauty of the surroundings.
I was told by some locals that April -August were the best times to visit with lots water and rain for the falls.
As for the lake, it’s not the loveliest water. But for the area, it’s a gem. There are plenty of opportunities for some beautiful photos of the lake at different locations & angles as you walk the trail.
Finally, restrooms are critical if I need one. The restrooms here were very clean and nice.
