Pros: Staff are wonderful, very friendly and helpful. The campground really has the feel of a small, family run place with lots of nostalgia. Homemade cookies handed out to the kids before kids candy bingo for example. :) Sites are large and nicely arranged. Bathrooms were clean. People were friendly and quiet hours were enforced.

Cons: Some of the facilities are quite outdated or no longer operating. While there is a game room, there is little there and many of the games do not work. The description lists a cafe in the camp store which we were told has not actually operated for several years and the camp store is pretty minimal. We stayed on site 35 which is right on the beach and a beautiful location in good weather however apparently floods quite badly whenever there is heavy rain. It would have been helpful to know that when booking as we ended up needing to go home to sleep one night when there was literally water running through the campsite and under our tent. Anyone booking this site should be informed that the water from the road drains directly into this site and flooding is common so they can make an informed decision about whether to book it. In the middle of torrential rain, we were offered the "opportunity" to move to an alternate tent site.

Overall, I liked the campground and if you are looking for a simple, old school campground, this may be a great match. It would be good for the camp to update the information on their website and maps to reflect reality however.
