We spent Dec 2022 through April here and enjoyed it so much we signed a 3 year lease and hope to continue after that. We found the office staff, maintenance and other workers to be friendly and accommodating. The folks here short and long term are friendly and outgoing. Its very easy to develop long term friendships.

The nine hole golf course has been improving. Its very convenient and they're trying to make it better, but a slow process.

The pool is large and nice along with a hot tub. They've had some issues with the HT and parts seemed to be an issue. Anyone who's tried to get any type of replacement parts knows it can be challenging.

They are working on a bathhouse, laundry, workout room that has yet to be finished, though it was expected to be done. From what I see it looks like it's moving along and should be operational soon.

The recently broke ground and poured the foundation for a new clubhouse. I'm not sure when its to be completed as its being worked on.

They have a nice pavilion for gatherings with a bar! They serve mostly beer & wine though I'd like to see other liquor its not easy to get that license. Hopefully perhaps one day. I enjoy meeting others there for conversation and drinks

Two nice, large fenced dog parks, one for small and one large dogs. They have water for the pups. Its a nice place to let them run and chat with friends. It would be nice to have a dog park at the other end of the resort as its about a mile from the back of the resort to the park.

Our lot is near the exit only at the back of the park. Its quiet with limited out only traffic though we were told it was an emergency exit only. The speed limit in the park is 15 mph which pretty fast, though some seem to exceed it on a regular basis, though not the Resorts fault.

They have some growing pains however thats expected new resorts. Phase 2 in the back was just opened this years. They did nice landscaping and put sod down to minimize mud. There is a sprinkler system for the landscaping and they were working on timers.

Yes this resort is away from major cities and thats what we like. Punta Gorda about 50 minutes away if you want a beach. Tampa, Ft Myers, Sarasota, Clearwater and others with an hour and a half or less. There are grocery stores. Tractor Supply, Walmart and more within 15 minutes. The locals are friendly and helpful.

After traveling the NE this year we're looking forward to our return in Nov, catching up with old friends and making new.!
