We booked a site online for a week stay. It was one of the few that would accommodate our 45' toy hauler. The site was at the far end alongside the roadway. Actually, it was on the other side of the fence from the roadway. All day and throughout the night you hear these trucks just flying down the road. It was awful! The site itself was tight and the only way to get into it was to enter into the site in front, position between two trees and back in. Way to tight! We were able to get into the site but on the day we were leaving, the neighbor parked his truck sideways in the front blocking our ability to turn left. We were basically blocked in as the site we were able to jostle around in originally when we arrived was occupied. We got lucky and caught the neighbor to the front as he was leaving for the day and he kindly moved his truck to another site. This allowed us to pull straight out and to the exit. What a mess! The overall park looks to be getting a major upgrade. It needs it! Fresh asphalt is laid on the entrance. Now all they need to do is rearrange the layout to accommodate more larger rigs, put some gravel down, and maybe build a wall to block some of that road noise!
I give it a few stars due to the location to Savannah. It is about a twenty minute drive. Besides that, I can't think or any other reason to stay here? Next time, I am paying the extra money to stay down the road at Creekfire! At least there I am not parked next to a raceway and I can easily get into and out of my site!
