Nicely maintained and usually totally not crowded with nice clean showers and bathrooms. Some shellers with tables and grills. Potable water sites. Swim area, shallow and somewhat hot in summer but nice for kids. Totally underused and underrated. Short hiking trails, limited fishing (again, more for kiddies entertainment not serious anglers). $2 fee for a very pleasant quiet day of hamburgers and splashing and drowning in sun or shade.
