We stayed here 7 months. We’d definitely go back. The location is off main roads but not too inconvenient. You cannot beat the views! It’s gorgeous. Kimball, Jasper, & Chattanooga within 20 minutes +/-. Having the dam close for entertainment & events is fun. The waterfront was beautiful when we first arrived but you can’t swim or fish now because of milfoil overgrowth. The pool is nice we loved that it was saltwater but it’s, unfortunately, not a nonsmoking area. You need a pass daily to swim but the office closes for lunch sometimes 2 hours so go early. Dogs run loose & stay on cables unattended, but they all seem friendly. The geese are more ornery than the dogs, ha! There’s little upkeep. If a site breaks you're moved & it’s not fixed, the grass is usually very tall. We had to get a push mower & had campers ask us to please mow their areas too. We had to replace our hoses twice because, when they did mow, they hit it with the weedeater. You go without water fairly often due to leaks. The Wi-Fi is hit or miss & there’s poor cell service so it can be frustrating if you’re staying a long time but nice if you’re on vacation. If you want quiet with beautiful views, turtles, geese, & a laidback atmosphere, it’s nice!
