This is a very nice campground. That being said I was very unhappy having to pay $20.00 to enter the property to have dinner with friends that were camping there, friends that already paid to use the space. I know if there is a response to this review it will be to the effect "the fee covers all the amenities that the park offers". We arrived at dinner time as a group of older adults for dinner. There were no amenities being used, not even a bathroom as our friends have them in their campers. A $5.00 fee would have been appropriate and understood. This policy really needs a common sense review, at this point is is a money grab. Edit** I received a response from the owner and Google would not give me an option to reply, hence my edit- Their response did not address my concern. Clearly stated policies would be posted on their website not emailed to their campers during their stay. The woman at the gate told us that they emailed the campers that day not prior to arrival as stated in their response. Putting the onus on their guests further demonstrates their lack of care. Never have we had to pay to visit with friends for dinner at a campground. Hopefully this policy will be modified for future visitors as it it truly a money grab.
