I would rate it the best campground I ever stayed in. Huge sites. The camp is by the mountain river. It is first come first serve. Turnaround is high as people mostly use it for just one night before scaling Mt. Elbert, so there is always sites available during week days. By weekend it gets tougher.

Stayed there 5 days, scaled Mt. Elbert and Mt. Massive. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Camping is basic. It has one vault restroom and no running water (pump was not functioning), no showers. Having the river next to the tent solves the water issue.
