We camped in the D lot in mid-september. You do have to take a gravel road, which had quite a bit of washboarding (as expected for a gravel road), and there are some potholes on the loop D road, but this didn't bother us. The hosts were nice. The bathroom for our loop was very clean and well maintained and we never had any issues accessing it when the campground was full, and the water access was good as well. Even when all the sites in our loop were full, we never really noticed. It is a beautiful campground location, the sites were really nice and nestled into the forest and it has great lake access. We also liked the location in terms of access to other areas. After reading reviews about mosquitos we brought a fly net tent to put over the picnic table and to hang out in and we were happy campers! Would definitely recommend this campsite and we look forward to hopefully being back one day.
